Kin52 FleetDrive is a private application used by drivers employed within the vehicle fleets operated by ATAF Logística, Lda. It is issued to drivers by their employer and is not intended for general public use. This section explains what the app collects, why, and who receives it. Where it differs from the general policy above, this section applies.
The controller of your personal data is ATAF Logística, Lda., a company registered in Angola. ATAF Logística, Lda. is a subsidiary of ATAF LLC (United Arab Emirates), which forms part of the Kin52 Group.
This section covers the Kin52 FleetDrive driver app only. Other Kin52 Group services, including UGO Ride and Allo Taxi, are covered by their own policies.
We collect the following, held in our records or generated as you use the app:
When you are checked in to a shift, this app collects your vehicle's GPS location in the background — including while the app is closed or your device's screen is off.
Collection begins only when you explicitly check in to a vehicle, and stops automatically when you check out or log out. It does not run at any other time.
Positions are sampled at approximately two-minute intervals, and only when the vehicle has moved at least 50 metres, so a parked vehicle generates no updates. Each reading may include latitude, longitude, accuracy, speed, heading, altitude, and a timestamp, together with the vehicle, driver, and company identifiers.
A notification remains visible on your device for the entire time tracking is active, so you are never tracked without an on-screen indication. You may withdraw permission at any time through your device's system settings; doing so will stop background collection, though it may prevent you from completing a check-in.
Location data is shared in real time with the fleet managers of ATAF Logística, Lda. They use it for dispatching the nearest vehicle to a job, confirming vehicles are used for authorised company purposes, maintaining travel and mileage records, and locating a vehicle in the event of a breakdown, accident, or theft.
Vehicle inspection photos are stored on our servers and may be analysed using automated systems for damage detection. Photos are retained for the period required by our operational policies. Uniform compliance photos may be taken and analysed to verify dress code adherence.
Your data is used for fleet operations management, vehicle maintenance tracking, travel and fuel reporting, attendance and payroll processing, and safety compliance monitoring.
Your data is accessible to authorised fleet managers and administrators of ATAF Logística, Lda., and may be shared with other companies within the ATAF and Kin52 Group where necessary for these purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertising networks. We use third-party service providers for hosting and cloud storage, who process data only on our instructions. Data may be disclosed where required by law.
Some of our hosting and cloud storage providers operate servers outside Angola, including within the ATAF group in the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred outside Angola, it is transmitted over encrypted connections and handled in accordance with applicable Angolan requirements for international transfers of personal data.
Your data is retained for as long as your driver account remains active. Photos are archived after 7 days and may be held in cloud storage. On account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
Under Angolan Law no. 22/11 of 17 June on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request correction of inaccurate data, to object to certain processing, and to request deletion of your data, subject to our record-keeping obligations as your employer.
To exercise these rights, contact your fleet manager or email support@kin52.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with Angola's data protection authority, the Agência de Proteção de Dados (APD).
This app is intended solely for employed drivers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
